As the World Cup is about to kick off it seems only fitting to post this study. It’s part of series I’m working on looking at items which have played a part in our lives and then been discarded as we move on to the next newer or better thing, perhaps forgetting some of the moments shared along the way. PS Come on England!
A new portfolio project called ‘Bush Fires’ is now uploaded with a selection of images from a few hours spent in the area around Melbourne Australia devastated by bush fires one year ago. You can view them in the ‘portfolio’ section under projects. Please click here to link through to the portfolios. All images © Adrian Lyon.
While travelling in Australia over Christmas one of the things high on my list was to visit and photograph the area north of Melbourne ravaged by bush fires almost a year ago. With only a few hours to spare before jumping on the plane home we didn’t get to spend the time I would have liked but for sure there’s some very poignant scenes and it’s also fascinating how nature and life is rebuilding. More to follow as a portfolio project… All images © Adrian Lyon.
