Photographing The Beauty Of Nature On a Frosty Morning
It’s amazing to think how many short lived displays of nature like this must have come and gone over time, so here’s three immortalised for ever.

As the World Cup is about to kick off it seems only fitting to post this study. It’s part of series I’m working on looking at items which have played a part in our lives and then been discarded as we move on to the next newer or better thing, perhaps forgetting some of the moments shared along the way. More to follow soon… All images © Adrian Lyon.
PS Come on England!
A new portfolio project called ‘Bush Fires’ is now uploaded with a selection of images from a few hours spent in the area around Melbourne Australia devastated by bush fires one year ago. You can view them in the ‘portfolio’ section under projects. Please click here to link through to the portfolios.
Update: this project has now been archived but if you’d like to see any of the images don’t hesitate to get in touch and I’ll be happy to share them.

While travelling in Australia over the Christmas period one of the things high on my list was to visit and photograph the area north of Melbourne ravaged by bush fires almost a year ago. With only a few hours to spare before jumping on the plane home we didn’t get to spend the time I would have liked but for sure there’s some very poignant scenes and it’s also amazing how nature and life is already rebuilding. More to follow as a portfolio project… All images © Adrian Lyon.
